Position Responsibilities:
Board Member: Board members will meet online monthly in order to discuss and vote on administrative and logistical decisions for Camp Quest Chesapeake. Individual board members may also take on specific leadership or administrative roles within the board or may undertake individual tasks between monthly meetings as needed. Board members serve three-year terms barring unforeseen circumstances.
Treasurer: The Board Treasurer is a board member who will manage CQC's finances and will be responsible for corporate/financial filings and reporting needs (state, federal, and organizational).
Camp Director: The Camp Director (CD) will be "the face of camp" and the on-site, week of camp executive. During the camp session, CD will manage camp volunteers, oversee week of camp on-site issues, and ensure that camp goes according to plan. Before the week of camp, CD will manage and collaborate with their team of volunteers in order to ensure that plans are made, materials are purchased, etc. CD is responsible for ensuring that the camp plan es executed and that campers enjoy a week of fun, friends, and free thought. Before and after the week of camp, CD will regularly report to and collaborate with the board and may attend regular board meetings as needed. A commitment to a multi-year term as CD is preferred. Must be at least 25 years old at the onset of camp (for '22, July 17)
