Introducing Cultural Diversity through Music- Songs of Diversity- In this dynamic music program, we will introduce and experience music from various cultures such as: Latin/Spanish, Native American, South African, Jazz/Blues and Asian Cultural Music. We will explore musical genres by singing,moving and playing instruments as well as teaching traditional games, songs, and books from specific cultural traditions. When children listen, dance and sing to music from diverse cultures, they also gain knowledge about diversity, tolerance, cultural understanding, and learn valuable lessons, while enjoying fun, multicultural music!
