What better way to kick off the hockey season than a little 3v3! Stick around after the 3v3 tourney and watch the Hopkins High School boys hockey team take on the Hopkins Fire Department for a friendly match up. Followed by a social hour with live music, food, raffles and more!
When: October 6th, 2024.
8:00 - 9:15 Mite 4
9:45 - 11:00 Squirts
11:30 - 12:15 10U & 12U
12:45 - 2:00 Peewees
Where: Hopkins Pavilion 11000 Excelsior Blvd.
Cost: $10 player registration fee includes all day admission and a chance to win a True hockey stick! Registered volunteer coaches get in free. Fans are $10 at the door
The Set Up: Mite 4, Squirts and Peewees will play 4 half-ice 3v3 round robin games. 15 minute (runtime) games with 4 teams per level.
10U & 12U will play one, half ice 3v3 game with three 12 minute (runtime) periods. There will be 2 teams at each level.
Each game will need a coach volunteer to ref.
Teams will be built based on total registration numbers to create fun and competitive match-ups.
After the 3v3 tourney, stick around to watch the Hopkins Fire Department vs HHS “Boys in Blue” game from 2:30-5. Community social event to follow with food, beer and live music!
This event is hosted by the Hopkins High School Boys Hockey team and all proceeds will go to support the HHS Boys hockey boosters.
