Faculty Development Workshops
All of our workshops for the Fall 2025 semester are listed below in chronological order. Our remaining workshops this semester are online in Zoom.

We will send out a calendar invite for the workshops you've registered for within a few days of your registration.

Introduction to Collaborative Grading
How can we make grading happen with students instead of to them? This workshop dives into “collaborative grading” approaches that use student self-assessment as a starting point for assessment. We’ll also discuss “ungrading,” which uses self-assessment to deemphasize grades as a motivator. You’ll learn strategies for collaboratively grading elements of a course (such as class participation or particular assignments) or entire courses, then reflect on how you might make these approaches work for your courses, your students, and your workload.
A copy of your responses will be emailed to the address you provided.
