Austin Startup Week Submissions (CLOSED)
When is Austin Startup Week?

The 6th annual Austin Startup Week is scheduled for October 3rd - October 7th, 2016.

What kind of event or session can I put on?

An Austin Startup Week event can be any (free) event that upholds the mission of celebrating and showcasing Austin's startup community. This can include talks, workshops, panels, mixers, networking sessions, parties, office tours, meetups and more.

Why participate?

Austin Startup Week is the largest free startup conference in Austin. Last year, we had over 10,000 attendees participate over the course of 5 days. It's a great way to promote your meetup or organization and share with the local community.

Where is Austin Startup Week held?

Austin Startup Week is held primarily in downtown and central Austin. Startups, companies and organizations open their doors to attendees, hosting events in their own offices. It's a great opportunity for attendees to check out some amazing spaces. Each event is responsible for finding their own venue, but we have several host venues (thank you Capital Factory and Techstars!) that we can help connect you with.

Events take place throughout each day, beginning Monday morning through Friday morning. Each slot is scheduled for 90 minutes, with 30 minute breaks between sessions for attendee transit. Please note that 90 minutes is just a suggestion - it is not required to fill the entire 90 minutes. Many sessions consist of 60 minutes of programming followed by 15 minutes of Q&A, and some will run longer than 90 minutes.
