Comprehensive Self-Awareness Education (CSE) Empower Registration is now open for a limited amount of participants.

Empower: CSE program 1 targets students of all genders, ages 7-9 and CSE Empower program 2 targets students of all genders, ages 10-13 years. Students will learn about their personal wellbeing, proper relationship development, and age-appropriate health according to the Navigating Personal Wellbeing & Sexuality in CHamoru & Chuukese Communities curriculum written by Drs. Lisa Linda Natividad and Tim de La Cruz. The curriculum is a culture-based learning resource focused on personal wellness and health in our communities. Students will also be introduced to the Guam Community College and learn more about educational opportunities on island.
These programs are FREE for eligible participants (Ages 7 & up) & is brought to our youth by the Governor's Childcare After School and Community Care grant program, the Bureau of Women's Affairs, Guam Community College and Island Girl Power.
These sessions will run during Summer 2023 from 8am-4pm for 1 week in June. Please complete the registration form and participants will receive a confirmation email along with additional program details. A webinar will be held prior to the first session to review course content and answer any questions that parents or guardians may have regarding this program.
