Parents should drop their kids off fifteen minutes prior to the start of schoolAll parents are required to sign-in and sign-out the students, irrespective of their age. Code of Conduct:
Students are expected to follow the instructions of the teachers and masjid leadership.Disruptive and uncooperative behavior will not be tolerated, such as:• Threatening, abusive language and /or engaging in any act of violence, assault, harassment,including inappropriate language against a person during school times or inside the masjid.• Theft or dishonesty• Degrading, rude, offensive language or demeaning comments towards anyone at school.• Inappropriate physical contact.• Intentionally destroying, damaging or defacing property.• Viewing or distributing inappropriate communication. • Taping any conversation, class or other activity in school.If a student is found to be engaging in any such behavior, following actions may be taken:Student is placed on probation after discussion with parent.Suspension of the student.Termination of enrollment.
Electronic Devices / Toys
Students are not allowed to use electronic devices, i.e., cell phones, Tablets, iPods, handheldgames, etc., in the classroom. If a student found in violation of this policy, the device will beconfiscated until the end of class. Repeated failure to follow rules may result in suspension fromthe school.
The dress code follows the Islamic guidelines.Girls should wear scarf/ hijab and either long sleeve top with a long skirt or loose pantsor Abaya.Tight jeans with short tops are discouraged in school.Any traditional clothing must follow similar guidelines.Boys should not wear sleeveless shirts.No clothing should have inappropriate writing.Failure to observe the dress code will result in the children being sent back home.
Student attendance and tardiness will be tracked.Absence without notice for five class days may lead in termination from the school.All students are required to maintain punctuality and timeliness. Al-Sabereen School Policies

Mode of Communication
The primary mode of communication, except for emergencies, is via email or text message. Pleasebe certain that your email address (and cell phone number) is correct. It is your responsibility toread your email regularly to get the latest information. Parents can discuss all matters withteachers and/or school management team. A meeting can be arranged with the teachers if needed.
Each student is provided with a number of textbooks for use in the classroom forthe current year. Textbooks are expensive and limited; parents must ensure that their child bringsthe books to the each class.
