Discover how historical inquiry and contemporary stories meet to create our shared culture. Led by experts in oral history, art, library research, and Oklahoma history, this workshop offers ideas for developing engaging lessons using primary sources for all grade levels and content areas. Topics include the history of Greenwood and the Tulsa Race Massacre, Native American Boarding Schools, and other unique Oklahoma stories. Workshop includes field trips, art and cultural activities. Participants will receive a certificate for 25 PD hours.
