Awesome Respite Childcare Services, LLC serves families raising children with special needs by providing in-home and community-based childcare services. We are committed to providing the best possible care to each family we serve. In order to serve families best, we need to have accurate contact information and information regarding the child/children we serve.
Please read and complete this form in its entirety. All parents, guardians, and caretakers are required to submit a complete Respite Form for Parents & Guardians.

Awesome Respite Childcare Services, LLC prides itself on providing high-quality AWESOME childcare services. Our team is here to assist with services specific to your child and family needs.
Please be advised at this time we are not taking insurance or the autism wavier for payment. It is our future goal to have insurance and the autism wavier accepted as payment for services. However, until then an invoice will be sent out to you immediately following services. The invoice will contain the due date for payment. Payments are due within 7 days of service. Late payments will result in a 10% late fee based on the invoice amount. We accept the following forms of payment: Venmo, Paypal, Visa, Mastercard, check, payment through Howard County Social Services, and LISS (Low-Intensity Support Services). You can also submit payments directly through our appointment website. There is a $35 fee for all returned checks. We will also be accepting cash on a temporary basis. The following Awesome Respite administrators are authorized to take payments: LaToya Drummond and Justin Nwachu. Please DO NOT submit payment to any other employee(s).
Awesome Respite Childcare Services, LLC requires a consultation for all families interested in respite and childcare services. Consultations are free and are booked in 1-hour increments. In the event an Awesome Respite Childcare staff denies your request for services, you will receive a written explanation of the denial.

Have your referral mention your name at their time of consultation then the discount will be applied to your next service. There is no limit for referrals so please keep them coming!

Awesome Respite means AWESOME childcare! We are dedicated to providing extraordinary respite care services for children with autism. We invite you to rediscover childcare with us. Our team is experienced and passionate to serve this population of children and their families. We cater to our families by providing respite care services in your home or community. We promote social skill building and assist with daily living activities. We also incorporate your child's daily routine in our activities.
Awesome Respite's mission is to improve the quality of life for children with autism and their families. We will do this by providing AWESOME in-home and community-based childcare services to families raising children with autism.
Awesome Respite offers personalized support and childcare services to children with autism and their families. We have created a mobile childcare program to assist and serve families in their homes and communities. Families who have a child on the autism spectrum often experience ongoing stress. Families raising children on the spectrum are impacted in all areas and aspects of daily life. Awesome Respite aims to lessen that stress by providing in-home and community-based childcare services. Our services are designed to meet the individual needs of each of our families.
Our respite care providers work to enhance personal growth, foster independence and establish rapport with all family members in the home. Additionally, ARCS respite care providers follow each child’s routine as closely as possible and work to improve the child’s social-emotional skills in the home and community.

Respite Care is not guaranteed for the following holidays New Year's Eve (December 31st), New Year’s Day (January 1), birthday of Martin Luther King, Jr. (3rd Monday in January), Washington’s Birthday (3rd Monday in February), Independence Day (July 4), Labor Day (1st Monday in September), Columbus Day (2nd Monday in October), Veterans Day (November 11), Thanksgiving Day (4th Thursday in November), Christmas Eve (December 24), Christmas Day (December 25).
