UNITE Credit Union Scholarship Application
UNITE Credit Union is offering (2) $500 College Scholarships. One will be awarded to a graduating high school senior graduating in spring 2020 and one will be awarded to a current college student. Scholarship funds can be used for tuition, room and board, books and other educational expenses. Entries must be submitted no later than March 31, 2020.

SCHOLARSHIP ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
1. Applicant must be a member of UNITE Credit Union (account must be opened at least 90 days prior to submitting the scholarship application).
2. Applicant must be entering or attending a vocational, technical, community college or 4-year college/university.
3. Applicant must have a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or better on a 4.0 scale.
4. Applicant is required to write an essay of approximately 300-500 words on the following topic:

“According to a recent survey, if the average high school senior were to take a test based on their knowledge of budgeting and household finances, they would receive a failing score. How would you design an interesting, engaging and informative program to teach students your age about budgeting and finances?”

Before completing the form below, please read the instructions carefully. All information given on this application will be kept confidential. Scholarship recipients will be chosen by an independent committee and will be contacted by April 20, 2020. The scholarship winner will be required to submit a photo to be used for various print and electronic media.
