Spiritual Mentorship Application
This fall we are excited to be piloting a spiritual mentorship program for Simpson University undergraduate students! We want to see you grow and step into Christian maturity.

Mission: To be a source of companionship and wisdom in the lives of students as they journey towards Jesus Christ.

We hope that mentors walk with you as you:
• Grow in your awareness of what Christ is doing in your life and talk about how to draw closer to Him.
• Transition to and from home life and life at Simpson University /Redding.
• As you prepare and pursue your vocational calling and service in the world.

Earn Chapel Credit
Each mentee will be able to receive up to 5 chapel “attendances” for meeting with their mentor.

For every 2 meetings, you can earn 1 chapel attendance. At the end of each semester the mentee is responsible for filling out and having the mentor sign the Mentor Meeting Chapel Credit form for verification.

Some Details
The Spiritual Formation Department will match each student with a mentor in the first month of each semester.

To get the most out of this experience, mentors/mentees can meet weekly to get to know one another. A primary goal during these meetings will be to discern where God is moving in the life of the mentee. We are asking each mentor for 30-60 minutes for a minimum of 6 weeks in the same semester (September – December; January-April). Preferably 10 consecutive weekly meetings.

Each mentor/mentee relationship will be on a semester-by-semester basis. If a mentor and a mentee would like to continue meeting for a second semester, that can be arranged.
