Deep in the ice at the heart of Antarctica, IceCube, the biggest and strangest detector in the world waits for mysterious messengers from the cosmos. Join us as Dr. Karen Andeen, Professor of Physics at Marquette University, tells us about her research at the South Pole’s IceCube Neutrino Observatory. Her presentation will be followed by the companion planetarium show Chasing the Ghost Particle: From the South Pole to the Edge of the Universe. This program is presented in partnership with NEA Big Read – Waukesha Reads.
