The dancefilmfestival brussels  focuses on the specific relationship between dance and film. The festival aims to be an international platform for choreographers, filmmakers and programmers and has the ambition to promote a selection of dancefilms in Belgium and abroad.

The 12th edition of the festival focuses on the screening of recent Belgian films, "Belgian Beauties", produced in the past two years  (2021 – 2023). The festival will take place between September 26th and September 30th, 2023 with an Opening night at BOZAR, the screening of Belgian Beauties in CINEMATEK, workshops, meetings and a final dinner.

The artistic director of the dancefilmfestival brussels  is Wolfgang Kolb. The producer is Redorangeproductions in partnership with Danscentrumjette, Contredanse, Cinematek and Bozar. The Festival is supported by Vlaams Audiovisueel Fonds (VAF)  and the Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles.

For the selection of the dancefilms, the festival will consider the art of filming and the translation or fusion of different disciplines to create an independent artistic cinematography.
