Segal Fellows in Action: 2018 Summer Internships & Ongoing Citizen Leadership
Come join the Eli J. & Phyllis N. Segal Citizen Leadership Program and the Center for Youth and Communities to hear from our newest 2018 Segal Fellows about their summer internships and their ongoing efforts as citizen leaders.

Be inspired by Heller MPP and MPP/MBA graduate students and undergraduate seniors and juniors, who will present about their impact and growth as Segal Fellows, including their exciting summer 2018 internship placements in Boston, DC, Atlanta, and Long Beach, and being a part of the lifelong Segal Citizen Leadership Program.

Internships spanned the issues of wealth gaps, employee owned cooperatives, community development, youth arts programming, and immigration, tenant, labor, and LGBTQ+ organizing. Site partners included: The Asian American Resource Workshop, Boston Office of Economic Development & Mayor Walsh's Economic Mobility Lab, Community Arts Center, Economic Policy Institute, Fight for 15/Poor People's Campaign, Housing Long Beach, and MA Department of Housing & Community Development.

While all guests are welcome to attend, we encourage you to register here to help with our event planning.

The event will take place on Tuesday, October 16th, from 12-1:30pm in Heller-Schneider Classroom G1 (Altman Amphitheater)
