With a curriculum designed just for women that know they want to run for elected office, Emerge America and Emerge Washington’s Northwest Candidate Boot Camp is an intensive three-day program to give women the training they need to run and win.  Curricula will include the following topics presented by top political strategists and trainers.

Developing a campaign plan
Fundraising
Messaging
Press Operations
Public Speaking
Grassroots Field Campaigns
And much more!

WHO SHOULD APPLY?
The 2017 Northwest Candidate Boot Camp has been developed for Democratic women who want to run at all levels of office. The curriculum is focused on the skills women need to jumpstart their plans to run for elected office. This program is also open to Democratic women who want to run for non-partisan positions, like the local school board. Boot Camp participants will join the ranks of Emerge Washington Boot Camp alumnae and the Emerge America network of more than 2,500 alumnae across the country who have completed an Emerge training program.  The training is not limited to first-time candidates. Current elected officials running for re-election or to higher office and candidates who have run before are encouraged to apply.

Female campaign managers are welcome to join the candidates but must pay full tuition for the program.

TUITION
Tuition for Emerge America and Emerge Washington's Northwest Candidate Boot Camp is $300. A deposit of $150 is due upon acceptance and the other $150 is due upon the first day of the Boot Camp. Once accepted to the Boot Camp, you will receive a link to pay your tuition online. Tuition covers our costs for national trainer travel, the meeting location, training materials and meals (3 breakfasts and lunches, 1 dinner). Once you complete Boot Camp you will be considered an Emerge Boot Camp Alumna and have access to our alumnae resources as well as continuing education opportunities for alumnae. Tuition may be paid by personal or campaign committee accounts. Due to campaign finance regulations, Emerge America and Emerge Washington cannot provide scholarships to Boot Camp participants. We do encourage all participants to fundraise to cover or defray the cost.
