Maker's Malt Bow Project
From the meeting yesterday, Maker's Malt has provided us a new barley that they have developed in conjunction with the University of Saskatchewan - and have malted it for the use of brewing beer. Maker's Malt was generous enough to give us a bunch of this exclusive malt for the intent of ALES members brewing different styles of beer and then having it judged in January at a local brewery (TBD).

If you are interested in obtaining 10 lbs of this malt (similar to Marris Otter), please submit your name below. We ask that you have the intent to brew within the next couple weeks to ensure that you have beer ready to consume for mid-January (sorry, dates and location are still unclear). If you are unable to brew in that time frame, or do not intend to submit the beer for judging, we ask that you do not put your name forth for this malt.

At this time we are looking to select 10 - 12 individuals (still TBD). If we receive more interest than malt available, we will do a random selection via drawing names out of a hat. We will contact you via email, telephone, text to let you know if you have been selected for the grain and how/when you can pick it up.
