Join us for a special presentation with Crystal Wilkinson, award-winning author and former Kentucky Poet Laureate, as she shares from her newest national best-seller Praisesong for the Kitchen Ghosts: Stories and Recipes from Five Generations of Black Country Cooks.
Blending memoir, family history, and nearly forty recipes, Wilkinson traces the hidden legacy of Black Appalachians and celebrates the role of Black women in sustaining families, preserving heritage, and uplifting community.
