KKME Morning Edition Contract
This is Step #2.  You must also complete the KKME Morning Edition Application.  Due by midnight, Friday, May 17, 2024

You have seven (7) items to validate that you will follow these principles as a member of the KKME Morning Edition Team.

1. I am important and will be present, on time, ready to learn, and prepared for any scheduled broadcasts.  I will be in the studio by 7:30.  The first school bell rings at 7:35, after which the KKME Studio doors will be locked.  If a KKME team member should show up after the tardy bell, they will have to go directly to class.  This means that they will miss being on the Morning Edition for that day.  After 5 tardies, the KKME Morning Edition Committee will review my position on the show. *
2. I am capable of learning and will meet all my academic responsibilities in a timely manner by completing all assigned work.  I will keep passing grades in all subjects, complete homework, and stay up to date with my classroom goals to remain on KKME. *
3. I will respect myself and others by using appropriate and respectful language.  I will act in a mature and responsible manner when participating in the news show and during the day.  I will keep my conduct grade an S or above.  If conduct becomes a problem, then my position on KKME Morning Edition will be reviewed by the KKME Committee. *
4. I have the responsibility to maintain the KKME Studio and will do so by picking up after myself and respecting the property of others as well as the KKME equipment. *
5. I agree to follow all McGill procedures in class and in the KKME Studio. *
6. I agree to be professional and business like in my behavior when participating in the broadcast or in KKME field trips and activities. *
7. I am responsible, and I will honor this contract.  If I violate any terms of this contract, I will accept the consequences which may mean losing my privileges and the opportunity to participate in KKME Morning Edition. *
Student: I am capable of making mature decisions for myself, and I sign this contract aware that it is my choice to participate in this program. *

These two boxes are for you to complete, not the student.  It is very important that you understand all the responsibilities of your student (above) if they are selected for KKME.  If they do not fulfill those expectations, they will be dismissed from KKME.
