Sign On to release Leah
By signing on you are agreeing to have you/your organization's name attached to the following letter:

We are writing to urge Judge Bryan Chushcoff and the Pierce County Prosecutor’s Office to release Leah into community custody for the remainder of any sentencing she receives. Leah is a 22-years-young mother of two children, daughter, sister, friend, and survivor of domestic violence and sexual abuse from Snohomish County, Washington who was charged with attempted murder in the first degree, assault one, and unlawful possession of a firearm.
On May 23rd, a jury delivered a verdict of not guilty on all charges, except for the firearm and found that she acted in self-defense.

Leah will be sentenced on June 10th at 1:30pm and she is facing a range of 21-27 months.
We will be writing a letter to the judge urging him to sentence Leah to community custody for any time left after she is credited for time served, so that she can remain at home to parent her children and continue her healing. We will also be adding research on the impacts of incarceration to her and to her children.

We will send this same letter to the prosecutor urging them to support this.

If you would agree to sign on to this final letter, please add your information below.
Thank you for your support!
