-Up to 20 youth in Chesapeake and 20 youth in Portsmouth will be selected from the online application to participate in an in-person interview.
-Applicants interviewed will be required to bring documentation of: locality of residence, right to work (if not a US citizen), and any barriers selected in the application. Interviewees will be provided with a list of approved documents for verification when they are selected for the interview.
All offers of employment in the NextGen Regional Summer Internship Program will be made by 11:59pm on May 10, 2018. Interns will be required to provide hiring documents including: picture id and social security card. It is highly advised that applicants make sure they have access to these items prior to May 10, 2018.
