Somerville Spring Clean Up/Comcast Cares Day 2018!
Join us on April 21st, Earth Day, as we celebrate spring and get together with neighbors to beautify our community spaces. Our annual Mayor’s Spring Clean Up/Comcast Cares Day is a city-wide cleanup and gardening day at 11 different sites across Somerville. The City of Somerville and Comcast will again generously provide sponsorship for the day. We are looking for as many volunteers and groups as possible to get out, get dirty, and clean up our parks, streets and gardens!

You're welcome to join us for breakfast at 9am at the boathouse and a free barbecue and activities at the boathouse at 12pm following the clean-up.

Cleaning begins at 10am at any of this year’s sites:

East Branch Library (115 Broadway)
Zero New Washington (New Washington St. & Inner Belt Rd.)
ArtFarm (10 Poplar St)
South St Farm (138 South St)
Quincy Street Open Space (14 Quincy St)
Somerville High School (City Hall Steps, 93 Highland Ave.)
Morse Kelley playground (Corner of Summer St & Craigie St)
Blessing of the Bay Boat House (32 Shore Drive)
Mystic Housing Steps (connecting housing to Healey School)
CHA parking lot, (114 Central St. between Albion & Vernon St.)
Davis Square Statute Park (near JP Licks, 4 College Ave.)
Dilboy Stadium (meet at tennis courts, 110 Alewife Brook Parkway)
