Objective|Empower youth through narrative production. Bring together the LAUSD Video Production community of students to share ideas, perspectives, and practices in order to uplift all. Encourage narrative for all students through Video Production.

The unique URL for your project is a very important part of your application. Please, double check that your URL is valid before posting it here (and be sure your video is public - we will not be able to view or judge a project that is set to private).
+Secondary students work collaboratively in teams of two or more to create an original short narrative film from preproduction to post that is 2-10 minutes and inspired by identity. All films are independent student film productions where teachers/parents/industry experts may serve only as coaches (hands off offering feedback on student creations). Every part of the production including preproduction, production, post production and beyond, must be completed solely by students.
+Teachers/ School sponsor must submit all entries. All communication will be sent to the teacher responsible for the entry.
+Enter a project only once. For every classroom project, please submit only the "best" one to the LATN Film Festival for consideration.
+All entries must be received by Midnight PST on April 14th, 2017
+Films should be 1920x1080 HD, H.264, MP4 or MOV files. Store a complete, high-resolution copy of your project, as this is required for all winning projects.
+Films should be uploaded an online account such as Vimeo, Youtube, or Google Drive and accessible for viewing.
+Films should be a 2 -10 minutes in length, including credits.
+Every Submission must include the original Screenplay in .pdf format with copyright information on a title page or header/footer.
+Films should be appropriate for all audiences containing no inappropriate content( obscenities, drug use, use weapons, gratuitous violence, or other offensive content)
+Entries must represent student work that was completed after August 1, 2015 to April 14th of 2017.

+The Film Festival is limited to a total running time of 90 minutes. The number of films screened at the Film Festival may be limited due to the time constraint.
+Release forms for all actors appearing in films, including extras who are recognizable, must be kept by film producer indefinitely.
+SAG-AFTRA documents if applicable, must be kept by film producer indefinitely.
+Films may be used for promotional or demonstration purposes by LATN Film Festival in the future.
+Projects must be submitted/shared with firstname.lastname@example.org including submission form.
