UpCycle's annual memberships help educators and educational sites to gather reasonably priced materials and supplies for creative experiences.

Annual individual teacher memberships are $75.

Individual teachers must provide proof of employment, e.g., a teacher or employee ID card, a recent pay stub, an email from the school or organization verifying employment. For individual membership, once the form is filled out the applicant should come to the shop with proof of employment to complete the process any time we are open. 

School and nonprofit membership fees are based on the number of students enrolled or the number of unique individuals served during the previous year. (see below)

For school and nonprofit memberships only, UpCycle will review the form and respond within 2 weeks. Applicant will be notified by email if the membership is approved and an invoice will be sent with appropriate fee.

Membership cards will be available for pickup in the shop after payment is received.

School and organization fees

0-25 students or individuals: $75, 1 card

26-75 students or individuals: $250, 5 cards

76-150 students or individuals: $300, 6 cards

151-300 students or individuals: $400, 8 cards

301-500 students or individuals: $500, 10 cards

>500 students or individuals: $600, 12 cards

UpCycle maintains the right to cancel a membership if materials taken from the Creative Reuse Center are not being used for educating or creative reuse experiences in an educational setting or if the information submitted during the application process was false or purposely understated.
