New Hampshire - Canada Business Development Forum

The New Hampshire Canada Trade Council (NHCTC) and the NH Department of Business and Economic Affairs invite you to a Forum to focus on economic development opportunities and increase New Hampshire and Canada cooperation.

U.S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen (Foreign Relations Committee) Invited, Ms. Mary Estelle Ryckman (former U.S. Trade Representative), and Canadian Consul General David Alward will participate in a luncheon conversation about the North American Free Trade Agreement. NAFTA plays an instrumental role in setting trade policy in North America and impacts economic development in New Hampshire.

This forum will benefit Canadian companies interested in expanding U.S. markets, as well as NH entities improving their community and region’s ability to attract Canadian companies. Attention will also be on how the two governments’ can better collaborate to address a spectrum of community development initiatives that promote cultural tourism and natural resource projects.

The forum will be held in the beautiful White Mountains at the historic Mountain View Grand Resort & Spa in Whitefield, New Hampshire. The event will also explore issues dealing with pre-clearance and other Homeland Security policies.

Join us on Oct. 27, 2017 at one of the state’s historic “Grand Hotels” for this community development forum. There is no registration fee, however as space is limited pre-registration is required by October 23. Please complete & electronically submit a registration form.
