Sign up to be a Representative on the NY Renews Youth Committee
The NY Renews Youth Committee is looking for representatives from around New York State to participate in committee meetings, trainings, and actions! The NY Renews Youth Committee is a space for young-people within the NY Renews coalition, a 300+ organization state-wide coalition at the forefront of the fight for climate justice in New York state. We're fighting for climate, jobs, and justice through $15 Billion in the 2022 state budget.

Whether you are looking to get more involved in the climate movement, learn about NYS politics, or simply want to level up your organizing skills, this is an opportunity to do so in a coalition organizing context. Representatives will be able to attend trainings, host their own actions, and build their organizing skills in one of the most powerful climate spaces in NY. The Youth Committee meets every other week with additional time on projects for those interested.

Self identified young-people of any age are welcome to join. If you're not affiliated with an organization, you are still very much welcome to apply and we will help you get involved! People of color, people with disabilities, women, non-binary, and LGBTQ people are especially encouraged to apply.
