Turner Free Library Teen Artist Internship - 2026 Application
Have you ever wanted to get paid for your artwork?  Well, now you can!  We are looking to hire 10-12 Randolph-based teen artists in grades 7-12 to create a unique piece of art (or design) for our Teen Lit Crate subscription box service and Digital Teen Room Art Gallery.  

Teens who are selected will:
1.  get experience working with a client;
2.  plan and execute a draft and final version of their artwork under the guidance and mentorship of professional local artist, Jamaal Eversley & 2022 Teen Art Intern, Ava Richards;
3.  have their work featured in the TFL Teen Room's Digital Art Gallery;

Final art designs will also be featured exclusively in the Teen Lit Crate subscription box!

SELECTED TEENS CAN RECEIVE UP TO A $250 STIPEND!!

Fill out the application below.  You MUST submit at least three (3) pieces of art to be considered.  
APPLICATIONS WILL CLOSE ON December 31, 2025 AT 11:59PM.

Selected teens will be notified in early January.  If selected, teens will be asked to attend 3 private consults and 2-3 group art sessions between January-April 2026.  Final art pieces will be due in late April/early May 2026.  An installation event will occur on May 30, 2026.

Teen artists will be featured in the Teen Room Digital Art Gallery and our Teen Lit Crate boxes from September 2025 through June 2025.  Each teen artist will receive a professionally printed copy of their art to take home along with a sample of the item their art will be featured on in our Teen Lit Crate box.

Teens can receive up to $250 for completing the internship.  (Teens must attend all consults and meet their agreed upon art deadlines to receive the full amount.)  Teens will receive payment upon receipt of their final art piece.

PLEASE NOTE THAT AFTER SUBMITTING YOUR APPLICATION, YOUR DIGITAL PORTFOLIO SHOULD BE EMAILED TO MISS JO!! 

FAILURE TO SUBMIT YOUR  ARTWORK PHOTOS RENDERS YOUR APPLICATION INCOMPLETE.   

YOUR APPLICATION WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED WITHOUT FIRST SUBMITTING THIS APPLICATION AND THEN EMAILING THREE OR MORE PHOTOS OF YOUR OWN ARTWORK AND/OR ANY PIECES YOU’VE CREATED IN SCHOOL ART CLASSES!.  SEND ALL PHOTOS OR DIGITAL PORTFOLIOS TO:  jbatson@randolph.ocln.org
