Hospital Travel and Access - Let us know your views
The NHS in Greater Manchester is current consulting on proposals that would mean that both Fairfield Hospital and North Manchester General Hospital would lose their "fully comprehensive" A&E service with the most severe cases having to be taken to a specialist hospital.
The specialist hospitals near us would be Salford Royal ('Hope Hospital'), Manchester Royal Infirmary (MRI), the Royal Oldham Hospital and there is a possibility of Royal Bolton hospital being a specialist hospital.
