Amador County Transit Unmet Needs Form
The Amador County Transportation Commission (ACTC) has defined an “Unmet Transit Need” as a substantial deficiency in the system of public transit services, specialized transportation services, paratransit services or private transportation services within Amador County which has been identified by community members or through the regional planning process and which has not been funded and implemented.

Every year ACTC hosts a public hearing to receive input on the question of whether or not there are any “unmet transit needs” that are “reasonable to meet" within the County. Transportation Development Act funds can only be used for street and road purposes if ACTC determines that there are no such unmet transit needs. Street and road needs in the region cannot be considered in determining whether or not there are unmet transit needs. This year the hearing will be held on December 15, 2016.

Individuals and groups are encouraged to comment on transit services and unmet needs anytime throughout the year by using this form.
