Workshop Descriptions
We have two workshops on offer for this meeting. Please pre-register for one workshop.

Session 1 - “Inertial Measurement Units:  Issues and Advantages” by David Fenimore
Inertial Measurement Units have been around for years.  But “recently” (in the last 5-10 years) they have gained popularity especially in the physics lab.  From the comfort of my ping-pong room (don’t be jealous) I will show how they can be used in some of your traditional labs but also how they can be used to look at phenomenon that was previously out of reach for the budget of an educational physics lab.

Session 2 - “A.I. and Drones” by Jay Bagley
What we are doing is approaching setting up a recreational and eventually professional drone program. The teachers and students will learn to use drones if they choose to engage in construction, agriculture, mining, real estate, oil or gas, car sales or other business that reaches flying in small areas. The demonstration will involve flying drones in Australia from America. Even if aviation is not their core vision; they will have an opportunity to join an up and coming workforce.
Which workshop would you like to attend? Please select only 1. See abstracts below. *
