Bringing your students to a live Imagination Celebration theater performance at the Pikes Peak Center is a journey of learning in every subject!

COST... per seat is $4.50.

CHECK... the school calendar to see if you are in school on FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 4, 2016. Please make sure school is in session.  We know it sounds silly as a first step, but we have had last minute cancellations and sad students due to scheduled-but-still-a-surprise closures.

COMPLETE... this online form and click SUBMIT on the bottom of the form! We will confirm when your reservation has been received.  

RESERVE... a bus or transportation.  Plan to arrive 30 minutes prior to the show start; the show lasts 1 hour.  

ANTICIPATE... that an invoice will be sent to the Billing Contact in late September, prior to the show; the invoice will be due October 13th.  Invoices will include the numbers you reserved for STUDENT + ADULTS + a $5 handling fee.  Refunds for cancellations WILL NOT BE ISSUED inside of 20 business days prior to the event.

PREPARE...your students for a truly unique educational experience! Education materials will be emailed to you prior to the show.

SNOW DAYS...IC and the Pikes Peak Center will NOT cancel a performance. If your school district is open and you opt not to attend the performance, NO refund will be issued. If school is closed or on a delayed schedule that interferes with your attendance, we will work with you to either book your group for another show or refund your money.

The Science of Magic ~ Friday, November 4, 2016
For centuries magicians have used scientific principles to make people levitate in mid-air and vanish in the blink of an eye. Illusionist Bill Blagg’s one-of-a-kind educational experience, The Science of Magic, takes students on a rare, never-before-seen journey “behind the scenes” of the magic world. Students will discover firsthand how magicians use science to create the impossible!

Bill’s comedy-filled, action-packed, presentation is highly interactive and makes science fun and exciting! Students will use the Scientific Method to levitate one of their teachers in mid-air and even learn how the science of reflection can make their homework magically disappear! In addition, Bill even performs some of his mind-blowing, grand-scale illusions with a scientific twist! Bill will event present an incredible display of the water cycle by making it snow from his bare hands! Students will watch in amazement as science creates magic right before their very eyes!

The Science of Magic is designed to excite, educate, intrigue and promote students to think “outside the box” and spawn their curiosity about how science and the Scientific Method are used by magicians to create the impossible!

The magic of live theater is for all ages...and this show is especially great for 2nd thru 8th grades.

The Magic of Science
We love offering these performances to school groups!  We work hard to continually evaluate the program to ensure it's a great experience for children and adults.  Our policies are based on experience and it is important that we know you have all the helpful information to make this a great season!
Performance Time
Select the time that works best.  AT THIS TIME, THE BEST SEATS ARE IN THE 11:30 SHOW.   Please note:  our performance times have changed from past seasons...they are now 9:30 and 11:30.

A MINIMUM quantity of 11 seats is required for a reservation.  School performances are for school-age students only. Non-school age children may not accompany chaperoning parents. Tickets for the evening family performance for the entire family can be purchased at the Pikes Peak Center Box Office.
# of Adults *
 For the safety of the children, the Adult:Child ratio required is 1:10.  Reservations that do not have enough adults will be asked to seek additional adult supervision. Reservations that have more than the 1:10 ratio will be charged $10.00 per each additional adult seat and are available ONLY if there are extra seats.
