The Delano Union School District has implemented systems and structures to help support and enhance the overall success of our students.  We are proud that Nueva Vista Language Academy supports these efforts by providing an opportunity for students to learn a second language in addition to English.  

Nueva Vista Language Academy's mission is to create high achieving scholars, confident communicators, and global citizens by providing a rigorous academic program which promotes language acquisition and develops academic and social skills.

The Dual Immersion program at Nueva Vista Language Academy operates as follows:

- Students in Transitional kindergarten will be taught in the target language of Spanish for 90% of the instructional day and in English for 10% of the instructional day.
