Let’s Hike T.O. is a hiking community open to everyone with a focus on engaging people of colour, newcomers and young adults. Everyone is welcome to attend our hikes regardless of how they identify. 

We started in July 2021 with the aim of creating an inclusive, welcoming space for people to experience hiking. We strongly believe in equity, diversity, and inclusion and try to ensure that our hikes reflect that in every way.

Our volunteer hike leaders are a vital part of our community. They enjoy hiking/walking and are interested in sharing their love of the outdoors with others. You don’t need any experience as we will provide full training on all of the responsibilities listed.

If you've read the role description and are able to commit to the training and leading 3+ hikes a year, please complete the form below. Our hike leader recruitment process involves an application form (this one!), a virtual interview, and the completion of hike leader training. 

Either way, once you complete this form, you will hear from us within two weeks.

We ask that you commit to your first two hike dates in advance so we can help you prepare and you can put your training into action immediately.
