The Dalhousie Architecture Students Association (DASA) is excited to welcome you to our next guest lecture of 2025!
Urban Sketchers: A Lecture by Mac Mackay will take place on Wednesday, June 25th at 6PM in the B015 Auditorium at Dalhousie University's School of Architecture.
Mac Mackay, a former M.Arch graduate from Dalhousie and a member of Urban Sketchers, will share his reflections on drawing as a way of seeing, recording, and engaging with the built environment. With stories and sketches drawn from cities near and far, Mac will speak about sketching as both an observational and communal practice that celebrates the everyday.
Following the talk, we’ll head outside for a relaxed group sketching session on the lawn (weather permitting). No experience is necessary, just bring something to draw with and your curiosity.
This free and public event invites anyone interested in drawing, architecture, or storytelling to join us in an evening of inspiration and creative connection.
