Apply for the Fall/ Spring 2019 Youth Empowerment Program!
The Youth Empowerment Program brings together Asian American and immigrant high school youth so that they can solve issues of injustice in their communities. Through training, community outreach activities, and education, youth will gain a deeper historical and political understanding of their experiences in America and work on campaigns to impact change on a local level.

Program Information:

Fall/ Spring YEP meets 1x a week for two-hour workshops where they learn about social issues, participate in outreach activities, and plan and lead a campaign to create positive social change.

Youth will gain public speaking skills, teamwork skills, and leadership skills through YEP. Students also receive volunteer service hours, recommendation letters, and potential consideration for the President's Volunteer Service Award upon completion of the program.
Fall '19 YEP will run from 9/28 - 12/21. Spring YEP will run from 1/11- 6/19. The day we meet on will be decided based on group availability, and we will meet form 5-7 PM.
