Thank you for your interest in applying for the 2023 iD Tech/Arman Roy Foundation Summer Program Scholarship at Princeton University. If selected, you will have the opportunity to attend an in-person weeklong (5 days) iDTech summer camp with overnight stay at Princeton University in Princeton, NJ
Overnight Course Options provided by iD Tech at Princeton University Include:
- VR Design with Unity and Meta Quest 2 - week of July 24th OR Aug 14th
- Intro to Python Coding for Machine Learning - weeks of July 17th OR July 24th OR Aug 14th
- Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning - week of July 24th
- Java Coding for Applications - weeks of July 17th OR July 31st OR Aug 14th
- Java Coding for Game Development - weeks of July 17th OR July 31st OR Aug 14th
- BattleBots Camp: Robotics Engineering with VEX - weeks of July 17th, OR July 24th OR July 31st OR Aug 14th
- Advanced Minecraft Modding with Java - week of July 24th
Overnight Accommodations and Transportation Considerations:
Scholarships include 5 days of a summer camp program at Princeton University that includes overnight accommodations, food and board (5 nights. All meals. Sun 6pm - Fri 3-3:30pm. First meal Sunday night. Last meal Friday lunch.). Parents or Guardians will need to ensure they can drop off students on Sunday and pick up students on Friday afternoon per program requirement.
Age Requirement - 13-17 (each course has required age range)
Open to residents of NJ and NY only
Important dates:
- FRIDAY APRIL 21 - application deadline
- MONDAY, MAY 1 - awards granted and selected students notified
- MONDAY, MAY 15 - Deadline for students to enroll in class using code provided by Arman Roy Foundation

Course Requirements:
- Attendance for the full week is mandatory
- A post-course presentation of your final project and/or learnings to the Arman Roy Foundation Board (sometime in September - location TBD - but will be accessible to all selected students)
