Parent/Student Contact Form (2019-2020)
MVMPCS Parent Newsletter, Student Directory & Volunteer Form (2019-2020)
Guidelines
All families, new and returning, must complete the contact form every school year to have up-to-date information for your family to receive important communications.

This form will take approximately 10 minutes to complete.

Please complete and submit no later than September 13, 2019

If you are unable to fill the form out at home, please stop by the computer lab during Back to School Night for assistance by a member of the communications committee.

Communications
All families are required to have at least one parent/guardian subscribed to the School E-News Distribution List. Our school has several channels of communication available to parents. This is how you will receive important communications regarding school events, news and updates.

All families should subscribe to FindOutFirst and follow MVM. FindOutFirst is the Frederick County Public Schools (FCPS) email service for emergency closings for schools and on the areas of interest you select. News from FindOutFirst is often received before other sources, but in emergencies please check any reliable source. MVM administration may use this method to reach out to parents for urgent messages (i.e. building issues, bear lock-downs, etc.) Sign-up or change your preferences: https://fcps.ezcommunicator.net/edu/frederick/login_form.aspx?app=0

Student Directory
Information contained in the student directory is contained in a password protected database and can be accessed through the MVMPCS.org website. Information listed here will be visible by anyone within the MVMPCS community with the password (parents, guardians, teachers and staff). The login and password information will be provided after the deadline to complete this form.
Volunteer Policy
As a charter school we rely heavily on volunteers to operate on a day-to-day basis. While we understand the time constraints of everyday life, we do ask that 100% of our families volunteer 30+ hours each year (if you are single parent family, 10+ hours would also be of help).

FCPS records our yearly volunteer hours and this information is shared with state and other grant-funding institutions, which makes it of vital importance as we qualify for grants.
