Join Natural Area Reserve System and Three Mountain Alliance staff for an interpretive hike through one of the most diverse rainforests in all of Hawaiʻi. Learn more about native species, native ecosystems and local resource management. Hike is about 1.5 hours and is over uneven and muddy terrain. Please bring the following to keep yourself safe and comfortable: Sturdy footwear or rubber boots, water, rain gear, warm layer(s), and lunch. Optional items to bring: Binoculars, camera, painting or drawing tools.
