Global Scholars Symposium 2019 Delegate Application Form
The Global Scholars Symposium (GSS) will be held this year at Rhodes House, Oxford from 1 - 2 June 2019. GSS brings together UK postgraduate students and global leaders to discuss important topics of today. Though it has never been easier to connect with someone across the planet, we seem to be growing further apart. This year’s theme, “Cultivating Innovation” seeks to embrace a multi-faceted approach to innovation and create a culture where individuals are inspired and encouraged to acquire the principles of innovation.

The symposium will kick off at 10AM on Saturday, 1 June, and finish Sunday, 2 June, at 6PM (2 days). Registration will open from 5PM on Friday, 31 May. The cost of attending is £20 (early bird) and £30 (after 15 May 2019). Transport and accommodation costs will need to be covered by delegates. Payment information is at the end of this form.

NB! Due to some last minute spots becoming available, we're opening last minute one day tickets! Choose to attend either the Saturday or the Sunday of the symposium for only £15! See programme below.

Note: Iftaar boxes will be provided to those Muslim delegates fasting during the symposium.

We're building on feedback from previous years and giving delegates a chance to present a short TED-like style talk (not directly associated with TED talks) to showcase their interests/passions. What better way to share your work with scholars around? If you're interested in presenting, send us a 100-150 word summary of your topic. [This has now closed due to the selection of presenters having been finalised.]
