6th Annual Texas Mentoring Summit Call for Proposals Deadline: Tuesday November 7, 2017 Conference Dates: January 11 - 12, 2018
The UTSA Institute for P-20 Initiatives via the Texas Mentoring Partnership is now seeking proposals for its 6th annual Texas Mentoring Summit. The 2018 summit sessions will be held on Friday, January 12, 2018 from 8-5 p.m. in San Antonio, Texas at the University of Texas at San Antonio Downtown Campus. We anticipate a rich mix of conversation, networking opportunities, hands-on workshops, trainings, and engagement with professionals from a diverse variety of disciplines. A pre-conference early evening reception will be held on January 11, 2018.

We seek to facilitate dialogue on mentoring among a broad constituency, including higher education, K-12, academic researchers, educators, community leaders, administrators, non-profit partners, business, faith-based organizations, mentoring advocates, government agencies, youth serving organizations and other professionals.

We are interested in proposals that reflect use of best practices, programming or research relevant to the field of mentoring. Favorable consideration will be given to those presentations supported by theory and evidence. Proposals that complement the theme, Mentoring: A Pathway To and Through College and Career will be favorably considered.
