Please note: 
This scholarship is for current MSW students and prospective MSW students starting in Fall 2024. 


Purpose:

To provide scholarships to students enrolled in the Master of Social Work (MSW) Program at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa Thompson School of Social Work & Public Health. Funds shall be used for costs associated with attendance (e.g. tuition, books, fees, etc.).

Eligibility:

Applicants/Awardees must: 

  • Be full-time MSW students in the Thompson School of Social Work & Public Health

  • Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better

  • Have some financial need, but not necessarily as defined by federal guidelines

  • Be a graduate of a State of Hawai‘i high school

Preference given to applicants/awardees who:

  • Study in the Child and Family specialization
