Standardizing the Statistics of Gynecological Cytology (Pap Smears)
The Saudi Society of Cytotechnology and Histotechnology, under the supervision of the Saudi Commission For Health Specialties (SCFHS), intends to establish a national program that is the first of its kind in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to standardize the statistics of gynecological cytology (Pap smear).

The goals of this this program:
- Provides Cytology laboratories with national benchmarking data that were collected from the entire Kingdom based on the preparation method (Thinprep, Surepath, Conventional, etc.). Currently, Cytology laboratories compare their data to the College of American Pathologists (CAP) data as part of their compliance to the accreditation standards. With the national benchmarking data, Cytology laboratories will be able to make a broader judgment to their statistics and take appropriate measures.

- Provides accurate data to researchers in the field of Cytopathology to better understand the abnormal pap smears in the Kingdom.

Therefore, we would like to ask you as a matter of cooperation, to provide us with the annual statistics of your laboratory as shown in this form.

Contributors to this national program will get the appropriate appreciation.
All data entered should be accurate and as stated in their annual statistic report.
