We’d like to introduce you to Marteine, an Ottawa-based, equity-driven learning hub providing affordable tutoring and mentorship for high school to post-secondary students.

Black Engineers of Canada (BEC) and Marteine are launching a mentorship collaboration centered around youth outreach that will

- Highlight the excellence of BEC members

- Provide real guidance to aspiring Black engineers

- Foster future membership and mentorship engagement

We are looking for a handful of Black Engineering students, new graduates, professionals and entrepreneurs from our membership to join:

“Real Talk”

November 18, 2025, 7pm ET

A virtual moderated Q&A event for ~60 mins.  

As mentor panelists, we are looking for you to share lived experiences, pathways, and advice for Black and first-gen students entering science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields.
