Presentations should be insightful, engaging, integrative, or inspiring. Conference participants learn from outstanding accomplishments, successful projects, and valuable resources. Please consider sharing your expertise and experience. Possible topics include, but are not limited to: aspects of Idaho ecosystems, STEM/STEAM education, place based learning, meeting Common Core and Idaho Science Standards through EE, Service Learning, experiences with community educators in the classroom, and fostering environmental education in early childhood.
Call for Proposals:Sessions: • 45 minute concurrent sessions are held Friday and Saturday afternoons. Each presentation will be assigned to a classroom. Each classroom is equipped with computers, projectors, and wifi and there is a computer lab available. Other campus facilities, indoor or outdoor, can be scheduled as needed for sessions.
Ignite Presentations: • Ignite is a fast-paced event where speakers are allowed 20 slides, which advance every 15 seconds whether the speaker is ready or not. That adds up to 5 minutes to share your knowledge and enthusiasm with the audience. All registrants will attend the Ignite presentations on Friday in the afternoon.
Registration Information for Presenters/Speakers: • Speakers are encouraged to register for the conference and receive the benefits of its educational and networking opportunities.
