Thank you for taking action to advocate for the Green Line and protect millions of dollars of public investment and millions more committed by both the Provincial and Federal Governments.

The LRT on the Green Foundation is a community advocacy group working to get Calgary’s Green Line LRT built in its entirety from north to south. The LRT on the Green Foundation is a registered not for profit society in Alberta run 100% by volunteers. We have been in the news recently advocating for an expedient Provincial review of the Green Line Project so that this project can begin in 2021.

We would like to send a physical postcard, on your behalf and with your consent, to Premier Kenney that states the following:

Dear Premier Kenney

Please do not delay the RFP for phase one of Green Line.
Now is the time to create 12,000 jobs.
Now is the time for a 4.5 billion dollar economic stimulus.
Now is the time to say no to further delays.
Now is the time to put shovels in the ground for phase one.
Now is the time to listen to mega-project experts. They have given their seal of approval.
Now is the time to commit to this great project.
Now is the time to think of hundreds of thousands of Calgarians.
Now is the time to stop delays and higher costs.
