"The Kensal Rise Tri Team' - fun & fundraise  at Blenheim Palace

Banish the Covid blues, get fitter and have a great date to look forward to, raising lots £££s for local charities - with over 150 people from the Kensal Rise & Queens Park area!

It's been a truly rubbish year and it's been a shocker being one of our small local charities, losing so many fundraising events. So why not come together in a really fun way as a community to raise funds for the likes of Salusbury World, Ark Franklin, Brent Centre for Young People, a local food initiative, your local library or Solidarity Fund or other local cash-strapped school or nursery?

The grounds of Blenheim Palace offer a beautiful venue to try out a mini Triathlon - or share a Relay with two friends. You can go hell for leather for a personal best or as a first-timer just go for the fun, at whatever pace suits you.

Past members of the team have been people who had never done a sporting event before they reached 62 (and managed even without training) and super-fast competitive fit types!

There will also be children's entertainment and plenty of picnic space.

Over the next few months there will also be lots of local fun training, e.g. Sunday mornings with the Queens Park Harriers, a 14 day Moberly Sports Centre pass, Sunday Boot Camp with Rachel Hosker, weekday morning group PT with Lizzie Barker or Mariangela, HIT with Dembo of Storm LDN, swim lessons with Swimming Nature at the Maqam Centre, buddy runs, open water swimming at Hampstead and Denham and Merchant Taylor, free strength, mobility and coaching advice with Maciej at Gym Locomotive as well as other benefits.

The event is already over-subscribed (8,000 people applied for 2,000 places last month) but we have a limited number of places still reserved, which you can claim for just £39.
