MASTER LODGING POLICY & AGREEMENT

Preventative Care (Vaccinations)
We consider a guest over due for services if they are due within 14 days of the boarding reservation. Since the exact time of immunity expiration is impossible to determine this 14 days window allows us to ensure maximum protection. Canine guests must be current on Distemper, Parvovirus, Bordetella, Influenza and Rabies vaccinations. Feline guests must be current on their FVRCP and Rabies vaccinations.

Parasite Prevention (Internal & External Parasites)
In order to help keep our facility parasite free, we ask that all pets staying with us be current on their prescription flea and heartworm prevention. A Pet Caretaker will look over your pet to ensure they do not have fleas, ticks, or obvious tapeworm infections. In the event parasites are noted, appropriate treatment will be administered and charges may incur. All pets are required to have a negative fecal screening on file within the last 6 months.

CONTAGIOUS ILLNESS POLICY
We have taken extreme precautions to prevent your pet from being exposed to anything viral and bacteriological in nature. However, this does not eliminate the risk of contraction. Like children in daycare, dogs in daycare are at an increased risk for contracting viruses and intestinal parasites. In the event this occurs, I understand I will be unable to bring your pet back to the hotel & spa until they have been medically cleared by our Veterinary staff. I also understand that since it is impossible to determine the origin of the illness/parasite, I will be financially responsible for the treatment of my pet.

Spa Services
We want your dogs to enjoy their stay and play all they want while they are here, but we also want them to go home fresh and clean! If your dog stays overnight with us at our hotel they are required to visit our spa and get a bath and blow dry the day of going home. All baths include, a nail trim, anal gland expression and an ear cleaning. The bath fee is not included in your nightly reservation cost and will incur a charge.

Personal Belongings
We provide bedding, toys, bowls and blankets for all of our hotel guests. We would like to encourage you to leave your personal belongings at home as we have a large amount of these belongings and we are unable to promise that you will get your same belongings returned to you. Palm Beach Pet Hotel and Spa at Baker Veterinary Clinic is not responsible for the loss of any belongings.

Room Service
All guests are strongly encouraged to bring their own food to minimize the risk of upset stomach from sudden dietary changes. In the event that not enough food is provided, we will provide your pet with our Hotel Diet and additional charges will be incurred. The hotel provides Science Diet Sensitive Stomach dry food for an additional daily charge.

Medication Administration
Our team will administer your pet's previously prescribed oral, optical and topical medication at no additional charge during guests' stay. To ensure proper administration and dosing, we require all medication to be brought in the original container with clear instructions on the label.

No Overnight Personnel
Palm Beach Pet Hotel and Spa has Pet Caretakers on from 8a-6p weekdays and 8a-5p on weekends and holidays. There is no one on site overnight and 24 hour care is not implied, promised, or guaranteed.

If your pet is in heat or goes into heat while staying in the hotel:
For safety, leash walking is mandatory for pets in heat, charges will incur. If your pet is to wear pads, there is a maintenance fee. If necessary, your pet is subject to being moved for safety.

General Risk Policy
I understand, it is my responsibility to notify the Baker Veterinary Clinic team of any medical problems or behavioral changes/abnormalities within the last 30 days immediately.

I understand that Palm Beach Pet Hotel and Spat at Baker Veterinary Clinic puts safety of all pets before anything else. I do understand the risks associated with daycare and boarding and accept full responsibility for any complications.

I release Palm Beach Pet Hotel and Spa and Baker Veterinary Clinic, its employees, successors, and assigns, and their respective heirs, personal representatives, affiliates, successors and assigns, and any and all persons, firms or corporations liable or who might be claimed to be liable, whether or not herein named, none of whom admit any liability to the undersigned, but all expressly denying liability from any and all claims, demands, damages, actions, causes of action or suits of any kind or nature whatsoever, which I now have or may hereafter have, arising out of or in any way relating to any and all injuries and damages of any and every kind, to both pet and property, and also any and all injuries and damages that may develop in the future, as a result of or in any way relating to of any liability arising from my pet's attendance and participation in activities.

By signing this agreement you understand Baker Veterinary Clinic's policies as they relate to your pet's care and agree to honor and adhere to them. Refusal to accept these terms will result in reservation cancelation and admission refusal. These policies are in place to provide the safest and most enjoyable experience possible for all guests
