Illuminate rallies large groups of people together to create impossible works of public art that, through awe, free humanity’s better nature. Founded in 2011, we’ve been working quietly to create a city-wide foundation of artful endeavor that embraces the multifaceted spirit of San Francisco, in all its nuance and vibrancy. 

We've recently expanded our volunteer efforts and they include:  assisting installation and maintenance of art exhibits on The Golden Mile in GG Park, documenting via still photos, video and drone our installations throughout the city and over 150+ free live performances in GG Park, Union Square, McLaren Park, Ferry Plaza, Bayview, etc. as well as help with live experiences at Grace Cathedral, WelcomeSF for Pride weekend etc.  

Requirements:  A sense of adventure, works well with others, doesn't mind getting dirty and appreciates that clean up is a fun group activity. All ages welcome, but volunteers 16 and under must be accompanied by a parent.

In consideration for being granted permission to work as a volunteer, I promise to conduct myself in a manner that is professional, courteous, keeps all visitors and volunteers safe and most of all - I will help be an inspiration to the public art projects of Illuminate.org

Further, because I will be on property owned by the City and County of San Francisco, I agree that the City and County of San Francisco, Illuminate.org and any and all of its officers, directors, agents and employees shall not be responsible or liable to Volunteer for, and, to the fullest extent allowed by law, Volunteer hereby waives all rights against the Released Parties and releases them from, any and all claims, demands, losses,
liabilities, damages, costs, liens, injuries, penalties, fines, lawsuits or other proceedings,
including, but not limited to, incidental or consequential damages and attorney’s fees, relating to
any injury, accident or death of any person, or loss or damage to any property, arising out of or in any way relating to the Volunteer Work or my entry onto or use of City-owned property. 

I understand that the City and Illuminate.org make no representations or warranties, express or implied, regarding the property on which the Volunteer Work will be performed and I agree toenter the property at my sole risk.
