T.A.C.O. Hike it Baby! (9/29)
WHAT:
An easy hike around Burlington City Park with your child(ren) to celebrate Take a Child Outside week! We want to help families with children from birth to school age get outside together! The hike will be on paved greenways and sidewalks around the park to accommodate strollers for a total distance of 1.5 miles (with options for shorter route if needed). This hike is free.

WHO:
Children from birth to school age with their caregiver - all are welcome from mom, dad, partner, grandparents, nanny, foster parent and friends.

WHEN:
Friday, September 29 from 9-10 am

WHERE:
We will meet at the TJ Sports Shelter in Burlington City Park (1388 Main Street, Burlington, NC 27215).

MORE DETAILS:
This is a 'leave no family behind' walk. All fitness levels and ages are welcome. If a diaper needs changed or a break is needed, we'll take it together. Before we begin we will welcome everyone through introductions. Our hike is a judgement-free zone, where we can enjoy each others company, be healthy and be in nature. The group will practice Leave No Trace ethics - which means hike it in, hike it out. We are stewards of our environment and want to leave it better than we found it.
