Join us! We need your smiling faces and energy to make the imagery that enlivens, clarifies, beautifies, and adds power to our movement toward climate justice!

No experience needed. We all have skills to share, whether in art or otherwise, and we're all learning from each other, and if you happen to have art skills, those are welcome and very needed as well. Something for everyone.

Thanks to you, these are fun community spaces where we get to know each other and share as much as we want to in addition to our creative hearts and hands doing the artwork! 

After filling out below for art builds, Please consider also signing up here to put Art into Action and make the imagery come alive, including getting our messages out at actions, events, celebrations, city council meetings, protests, press releases and other photo ops, and even in Summer parades!! The Fremont Summer Solstice Parade is coming right up and really needs your help to manifest the art!

May 31: Saturday, 1-5 ART BUILD Join us for a lovely time together working to finish the 49 Monarch Butterfly props, build our beautiful heart monarch tree on our float, and more to defend Immigrants' rights for the Solstice Parade. We'll be building, painting, hot gluing, cutting, paper macheting, and more! See photo at the bottom!

June 5: Thursday, 6-8:30 ARTFUL Presentation and short ART BUILD sampling at CLIMATE COMMUNITY NIGHT: Join us in learning about the Artful team and how art gives inviting beauty, power, and clarity to our movement, and then making some of the art for the upcoming Solstice Parade ensemble WE ARE ONE - MIGRATION IS BEAUTIFUL that we'd love for you to join. We'll likely be working on painting the monarch props or smaller ones to flutter around the tree and make up the pulsing heart on the float.
