Sharing The Song:  Awakening Our Voices
This three-day gathering will be sponsored and hosted by Grace Lutheran Church in Fort Washington MD --just outside of Washington, DC-- from February 6-8, 2026 and will include:
  • a concert by Johnny Hermanson and Maren Marchesini on Friday evening, 
  • a participatory music and liturgy workshop on Saturday, led by Paul Vasile and Maren Marchesini, and 
  • a worship service on Sunday with Maren and Johnny. 
Join us for the entire weekend or come at the times you’re available. No matter when you plan to attend, please register by Monday, February 2.

WHAT IS THE COST?

  • A freewill offering will be received at the concert on Friday. The suggested donation is $15 but you are welcome to offer what you’re able. No one will be turned away.  
  • The registration rate for the Saturday workshop is on a sliding scale: $40-$80. This includes all workshop materials, lunch on Saturday, as well as light refreshments.   • Everyone is invited to Sunday’s worship service at no cost.
WHO IS INVITED?
Everyone is welcome, across (non-) denominational affiliation, including but not limited to intrepid clergy, church musicians, choir and band members, and worshipers who are eager to sing and learn together.
